Ohio Fish & Shrimp Festival

Shrimp in Ohio? Come celebrate Ohio’s Freshwater Shrimp Harvest at the farm. The 7th annual Ohio Fish and Shrimp Festival will be held at Freshwater Farms of Ohio, 1 mile north of Urbana at 2624 N. U.S. Highway 68.

There will be freshly harvested shrimp from multiple farmers for sale as well as food vendors of all kinds. Come enjoy the extensive displays of koi and other decorative garden pond fish. Swing by the farm market for a gourmet taste of smoked trout products.

This year we are proud to present the 4th annual Bluegrass Stage with live music all day; lawn chairs and blankets welcome!

Join in on the Trout Feeding Frenzy, the Kids Wet Zone, sand castle play zone, wading pool fountain fun and the Frog Jumping Contest.

Don't forget to visit the famous sturgeon pool, where you can pet Ohio's largest native fish. Check out the OSU football tailgate party. Also stuff yourself in the Shrimp peeling & eating contest, buy a Shrimp Festival souvenir shirt and come enjoy the day at our farm!
